Catarina Siqueira and Henrique de Carvalho tell how they discovered they were pregnant

Catarina Siqueira and Henrique de Carvalho appeared on the TVI program 'Dois às 10' this Friday, May 9, to speak publicly for the first time about the new phase they are experiencing. The couple is awaiting the arrival of their first child together.

When asked by Cristina Ferreira, Catarina and Henrique revealed that they still don't know the baby's sex, as the actress is only now completing the first trimester of pregnancy.

"It was planned, Henrique really wanted it", confessed Catarina, explaining that, however, it happened faster than the couple expected.

Catarina told a live broadcast how they discovered the pregnancy. After some symptoms, the actress took two tests. The first one ended up being 'invalid', as it was not done properly, and the second one was done the following morning.

The actress was alone in the bathroom, while Henrique was taking a shower in another bathroom. She took the test and forgot about it. Only later, while brushing her teeth, did she look and realize that the result was positive.

The baby on the way is the result of a relationship of almost two years and will join Luz. Catarina Siqueira's first daughter, aged nine, is the result of the actress's previous relationship (a union that lasted almost 20 years and ended two years ago).

When asked about possible names for the baby on the way, the two actors revealed the options if it is a girl: Concha, Aurora, Constança and Benedita. If it is a boy, the father would like Teófilo or Teodoro, with the only consensus being Vicente.
