Prince Harry recreates with his children a moment he shared with his mother, Diana

Prince Harry 'went back' to the past by recreating a moment he experienced with his mother, the late Princess Diana.

The Duke of Sussex took his children, Lilibet, four, and Archie, six, to Disneyland. An experience the prince had already had with his mother, Diana, 31 years ago - when he was eight and his brother, William, was 11.

This trip took place just a few months after Diana's separation from then-Prince Charles, and was a rare moment of family joy, as People recalls.

Diana, Harry and William then enjoyed an exclusive ride on Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World in Florida, which was closed to other visitors. The royals were escorted through Disney's secret underground tunnels, accompanied by close friends and security guards.

A person who works at Flagler's (now Citricos) restaurant at the Grand Floridian recalled to People: "They were all very nice and polite. She was a sweetheart."

Now, Harry has given his children the same experience as he celebrated his youngest daughter Lilibet's birthday.
