Vale Tudo: Heleninha Roitman's story begins to intersect with that of her twin

In the next chapters of the Vale Tudo remake, Heleninha (played by Paolla Oliveira ) stars in a moving scene when she shares a deep and painful secret with Ivan (Renato Góes). During the conversation, she recalls the supposed death of her twin brother, Leonardo, an event that marked her personal and emotional trajectory.

In an emotional tone, the character states: "It was like I had killed a part of myself... And, somehow, I never let it go."

The moment of vulnerability between the two not only exposes the emotional burden that Heleninha has been carrying for years, but also strengthens the couple's bond. Ivan listens to the story with attention and empathy, a gesture that leads her to declare:

"You're the first one who really listens to me." This sincere exchange will result, in fact, in a night of even closer ties between the two characters.

The hidden truth about Leonardo

Although Heleninha continues to believe that she caused the accident that took Leonardo's life, the reality is different. As revealed in the recent plots of the soap opera, Leonardo is alive and lives secluded in a house in the countryside, under the care of Nice (Teca Pereira). Odete Roitman (Debora Bloch), the twins' mother, has kept this secret for years, paying the caregiver to keep her quiet.

In one of the most revealing scenes, Nice's granddaughter confronts Odete, claiming that her grandmother is no longer able to take care of Leonardo alone. "I dropped out of college. Do you want to come in?", asks the young woman. The villain responds coldly:

"I just hope you're aware of all parts of my agreement with your grandmother. I could pay someone else to take care of him, your price is for secrecy."

Tragedy and manipulation in the past

In the original version of the plot, shown in 1988, Heleninha believed she was responsible for the accident that killed Leonardo. However, the truth only came to light at the end of the story, revealing that Odete was the one driving the car at the time of the accident.

The tragedy occurred after a tumultuous sequence in which Heleninha, suspicious of her husband's betrayal, invades an apartment with Ruth, the family's maid. There, they surprise Odete with a lover. The sequence ends with a car accident, a fire and the supposed death of Leonardo.

Disoriented, Heleninha finds her brother's body and goes into shock. By dropping a cigarette, Odete starts a fire, but allows her daughter to bear the blame for the tragedy. As a result, Heleninha plunges into alcoholism and loses custody of her son.

Revelations that change the course

Currently, the remake of Vale Tudo, directed by Manuela Dias and directed by Paulo Silvestrini, revisits the classic narrative with different nuances. Leonardo's existence and his physical consequences emerge as a central element of the new phase of the soap opera. Heleninha's confession, therefore, represents not only an emotional milestone, but also foreshadows the collapse of the secret kept by Odete for so long.
