After all, she inspires enormous confidence. I have to be grateful for this opportunity to meet and play with my idol," she said, emotionally, to conclude:

"At the hotel, many children were asking Marta for an autograph. I identified with those children, I saw myself in them and I was moved."

Brazil and Japan play again on Monday

This was the first of two friendlies that the Brazilian Women's National Team will play against Japan. The other will be on Monday, at 8:00 p.m. (Brasília time), in Bragança Paulista. The National Team is preparing for the Copa América, which will take place between July 12 and August 2. Brazil has already won eight of the nine previous editions of the competition, losing only to Argentina in 2006. It is looking for its fifth consecutive title.
