Flamengo sponsor suspended again by the Government

The Ministry of Finance's Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA) has once again suspended Pixbet and Flabet, Flamengo 's sponsors. The sponsors obtained official authorization to operate in the country, but failed to submit the security reports required by the government. As a result, the betting houses had their operations interrupted.

"The absence of reports affects the safety of bettors and the popular economy, the fight against money laundering and the collection of taxes and contributions", explained the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA).

PixBet Soluções Tecnológicas Ltda is responsible for the brands Pixbet, Flabet and Bet da Sorte. The latter, by the way, sponsors Santa Cruz. Therefore, all the houses are suspended until the reports are submitted. After all, they are part of a fight against money laundering and monitoring of possible sports fraud, especially involving athletes.

In April, betting houses were suspended because they failed to submit four technical certificates. However, the issue was resolved three days later. Thus, the Ministry of Finance authorized the operation in national territory until January 5, 2030. In addition to Flamengo's sponsors, another 25 betting houses were also suspended.
