São Paulo falters at home and is defeated by Mirassol by 2 to 0

São Paulo hosted Mirassol this Saturday (24), at MorumBis, in a match valid for the 10th round of the Brazilian Championship. The match ended with the victory of the neighboring team, being Mirassol's first away game in this Brasileirão.

São Paulo will face Talleres next Tuesday (27), at 7pm (Brasília time), at MorumBis, for the Conmembol Libertadores game. For the Brasileirão, they will face São Paulo next Saturday (31), at 6:30pm (Brasília time). Mirassol will face Sport on Monday (1), at 11am (Brasília time), for the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship.
FIRST HALF
The first half was balanced, with a lot of fighting in the midfield and few clear chances to score. Early on, Lucas Ramon shot dangerously, but Alan Franco saved. São Paulo responded with a free kick taken by Luciano, saved by Walter. Lucas Ferreira tried to create on the right, but found it difficult. Tricolor had more possession, but was pressured when moving the ball out and resorted to long passes. They created danger with crosses and shots by Pablo Maia and Arboleda, but without success. Mirassol relied on high marking and quick plays. Lucas Ramon collided with goalkeeper Rafael, who needed treatment. Neto Moura was booked and is suspended for the next game.
