Workers fire coach Bruno Pivetti after negative sequence in Série B

Operário announced, on Sunday afternoon (15), the dismissal of coach Bruno Pivetti.

The coach, who led Fantasma to win the Paraná state title this year, was unable to resist a sequence of four games without a win in Série B.

Last Saturday (14), the Ponta Grossa team lost away from home by 2-1, to Athletic-MG, with a goal conceded in the final moments. A repeat of the 2-1 defeat to Remo, in the previous round, when Operário also ended up being beaten in the dying moments.

With the negative results, Fantasma occupies the 13th position in Série B, with 14 points, but can still lose two positions in the remainder of the round and, in this way, be dangerously close to the relegation zone.

Pivetti had arrived at Operário in December of last year and left his name in the club's history, with the conquest of the second Paraná championship, after victory over Maringá in this year's final.

Fantasma announced Pivetti's departure on its social media, with the following message:

“Operário Ferroviário informs that Bruno Pivetti is no longer the coach of the main team. Along with him, his assistant coach, Ricardo Pagani, leaves the black and white team.

Bruno and Ricardo arrived at the club in December 2024 and the most notable moment of their time there was winning the Campeonato Paranaense title this year, an achievement that will remain immortalized in the club's history.

Under his command, the team demonstrated competitiveness, organization and fighting spirit, values ​​that directly reflect the identity we want to maintain on the field. Pivetti leaves us a legacy of hard work, dedication and respect for the institution.
