A defendant in the Moskalik murder case admitted that he watched him

MOSCOW, August 23 — RIA Novosti. An accomplice in the murder of General Yaroslav Moskalik, detained in the Saratov Region, has admitted that he watched him and delivered the bomb, the FSB reported.

"From 2023 to 2025, on the instructions of my curator, I conducted surveillance of the Russian Aerospace Forces servicemen, establishing their place of work and place of residence. In April 2025, on the instructions of the Ukrainian special services, I took part in a terrorist attack against Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik. My task was to observe him and deliver an explosive device," the detainee said.

Earlier, the FSB reported the arrest in the Saratov Region of an accomplice in the murder of Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, organized by the Ukrainian special services in April 2025 in the Moscow Region. The detainee is also involved in the transfer of information to Kyiv about servicemen of the Russian Aerospace Forces, heads and employees of defense enterprises, as well as critical and transport infrastructure facilities in the region.
