The Investigative Committee of Vladimir reported that the head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered the regional head, Artem Kulakov, to check and report on the situation with the Volkov family. Last week, one of the State Duma deputies, Alexei Govyrin, wrote in his Telegram channel that the large Vladimir family had been waiting in line for an apartment for seven years.

With the birth of their fourth child, they were unexpectedly removed from the list. When the mother, Tatyana Volkova, began to investigate, it turned out that their income, taking into account benefits, had exceeded the minimum threshold. At the same time, benefits were given as low-income.

The activists helped Vladimir residents to file a complaint to the prosecutor's office. With the help of the court, they restored their rights to housing. The legality of the officials' actions will now be checked by the Investigative Committee. And, apparently, now they won't be able to get by with "formulaic replies".
