In just a few days, the southern regions of Russia will have a wonderful time to create memorable photo stories against the backdrop of blooming lavender fields. The famous lavender farms can be easily found near Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar region.
“Some of them are located next to wineries, so in one day you can have a flower photo shoot, visit a vineyard and taste local wines,” experts from the National Tour Operator “Alean” told NI.

In many regions of the country, summer is the best time for beautiful photo shoots in former noble estates: Karabikha in the Yaroslavl region, Shchelykovo and Sledovo near Kostroma and a number of others. Regularly planned parks have been preserved in the manor houses. Some estate owners organize traditional " flower balls " in the summer, during which everyone can admire the beauty of irises, peonies and lilies of the most varied shades.
At the end of summer, in many locations across the country, water tourism enthusiasts witness the blooming of water lilies.
"You don't have to travel far to see these beautiful plants: they can be found even in central Russia, for example, in Kostroma. Since last year, they have begun to appear not only in the Sumarokovsky Elk Sanctuary or in forest backwaters, but also in the very center of the city, including on the surface of Shagovsky Pond. Many people don't notice this in the daily hustle and bustle, but an important quality of a successful photo tourist is observation and the ability to see the beauty around them. If a person has this quality, he will bring back wonderful emotions from any corner of our country," guide Andrei Smetanin told NI.
