Social media users reacted with indignation to such “care” from the authorities.
- “Wi-Fi works intermittently, and mobile [Internet] is completely dead, it’s been glitching since lunchtime.”
- “At our work, the internet still works somehow, and only if you sit in a certain place.”
- "Voronezh, at 21:00 MTS went down completely. Mobile Internet still doesn't work. Connection is intermittent. The operator hangs up on the hotline, it's impossible to get through."
- "Temporary shutdowns without any warning for an indefinite period."
- "Yeah, but we're in danger for who knows how many hours."
- "Cool, thanks. Is it okay that this danger is practically every day? How to work, study, communicate with people? I'm not saying that with jammers the GPS system doesn't work at all, I ended up in Samara when trying to call a taxi, and my friends were offered to arrange delivery to Tyumen instead of a Voronezh address. But now it's just too much."
- "Nightmare, my work depends on mobile internet, what should I do now?! Today's meeting was cancelled."
- "Cool development! How am I supposed to know about danger if there is no communication?"
- "But should we warn you more or less in advance? What should couriers and taxi drivers do, who might be caught off guard by such a shutdown in the middle of their work?"
- “The inability to contact loved ones, ambulances and the Ministry of Emergency Situations is excellent security.”
