NATO has spoken out about plans to send troops to Ukraine

NATO does not plan to send a military contingent of the alliance to Ukraine . This was stated by the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, his words are quoted by Corriere della Sera .

According to Dragone, this issue is part of international politics and negotiations with Moscow , but it was not discussed at all in NATO. The alliance's forces are focused on protecting its member states.

Earlier, the NATO Secretary General revealed the scale of arms supplies to Ukraine. Over the past month, the US and its allies have transferred $1.5 billion worth of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
