Nizhny Novgorod resident Sergei Koldenkov became the Russian boxing champion for the first time

For the first time in his sports biography, 21-year-old Sergei Koldenkov from the city of Kstovo won the title of Russian boxing champion among men. This victory brought him not only the title, but also the opportunity to participate in the world championship.
In Yekaterinburg, the decisive fight between Sergey Koldenkov, representing Kstovo, and Alexey Skomorokha from Krasnoyarsk did not take place due to the latter's arm being injured in the semi-final fight. As a result, our fellow countryman was declared the winner in the weight category up to 71 kg.
At the awards ceremony, Koldenkov was presented with a gold medal, a championship belt, and a cash prize of three million rubles. Alexey Skomorokha, who took second place, received two million rubles.
