Russian security forces have called on soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to contact them via special bots in Telegram before surrendering. This will allow those who wish to surrender to save their lives, TASS reports.
As explained by the security forces, their own drones fly over Ukrainian positions during the battle in order to strike, if necessary, at those who decided to surrender. "In order not to fall under the blocking detachment of their own brothers-in-arms, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should contact our servicemen via a chat bot or in any other way," the statement says.
The agency's interlocutor said that recently one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers did not contact representatives of the Russian side, but simply advanced to Russian positions with a white flag. As a result, his fellow soldiers attacked him, as a result of which he did not survive.
Earlier it became known that 10 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered in the south of the Donetsk People's Republic.
