The prosecutor's office has identified violations at the Lovozero Mining and Processing Plant during the hiring of a former civil servant

The Lovozero District Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of compliance with anti-corruption legislation at Lovozersky Mining and Processing Plant (MPP) LLC. During the inspection, a violation was identified related to the employment of a former civil servant.
According to the press service of the Murmansk Region Prosecutor's Office, in March 2024, a former employee of FKU IK-23 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Murmansk Region was hired by Lovozersky GOK LLC. However, in violation of the 10-day period established by law, the organization did not notify the employee's last employer, the Federal Penitentiary Service, of this fact.
This is a direct violation of the anti-corruption legislation. In order to prevent similar incidents in the future, the prosecutor's office made a submission to the general director of Lovozersky GOK LLC.
In addition, a case of administrative offence under Article 19.29 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (illegal involvement in labour activity or in the performance of work or provision of services of a state or municipal employee, or a former state or municipal employee) was initiated against the responsible official.
The Lovozero District Prosecutor's Office monitors the results of the review of response acts and the elimination of identified violations.
Also, due to violations, the State Housing and Construction Supervision Authority intends to revoke the license of the Severomorsk management company.
