Acting Mayor Appointed in Krasnoyarsk

Alexey Shuvalov has become acting mayor of Krasnoyarsk. The city administration reported this.

“First Deputy Head of the City Alexey Borisovich Shuvalov has been appointed acting mayor of Krasnoyarsk,” the mayor’s office said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

Shuvalov himself stated that during the meeting with the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov, clear tasks were set, which the city authorities will continue to implement. Shuvalov named the most important tasks as preparing the city for the heating season, and schools and kindergartens for the new academic year.

Also under separate control are projects for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.

Earlier, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested the former mayor of Krasnoyarsk Vladislav Loginov for almost two months. He is accused of receiving a large bribe.
