A resident of Chuvashia from the city of Alatyr, Alla Pugacheva, a full namesake of the famous singer, almost died due to a severe inflammatory process in the heart. Medical workers promptly identified the dangerous disease and performed emergency surgery, thanks to which the woman was saved.
It all started with a rise in body temperature and general weakness, which did not subside for several days. Subsequently, the woman began to notice a change in skin color, its blueness, the appearance of chills and a complete loss of appetite. The ambulance team that arrived on call conducted a number of examinations, but it was not possible to establish an accurate diagnosis for a long time.
The woman's health continued to deteriorate, and doctors decided to immediately evacuate the patient to the Republican Cardiology Dispensary. Air ambulances were used to accomplish this task. The helicopter delivered the patient to the city of Cheboksary, where cardiac surgeons were already waiting for her, who diagnosed her with acute endocarditis.
It is specified that the woman is currently undergoing a rehabilitation course and is gradually returning to a full life. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Chuvashia.
