Three new defendants have appeared in the criminal case of embezzlement on an especially large scale, initiated against the Minister of Roads and Transport of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Nechayev. According to court documents reviewed by the TASS agency, the total number of defendants under Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (embezzlement) has reached eight people.

"There are three more defendants in this criminal case, opened on charges of particularly large-scale embezzlement," the court ruling states.

Let us recall that the Meshchansky Court of Moscow arrested the director of Tekhnopark, Aleksandr Zyryanov, Nechaev himself, as well as Dmitry Mikulik and Konstantin Zaripov. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions for the deputy general director of the RS Group company, Ekaterina Krasnikhina.

Earlier it was reported that the court had seized the property of the son of the former deputy governor of the Bryansk region.
