Miroshnik: Ukrainian Armed Forces shelling of Russian territories intensifies amid negotiations

Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry for the Crimes of the Kyiv Regime Rodion Miroshnik told RIA Novosti that shelling of Russian territories by the Ukrainian armed forces is intensifying against the backdrop of the meeting of Russian and US representatives in Riyadh.

He clarified that provocations on the part of the Kyiv regime cannot be ruled out.

“Against the backdrop of the fact that the Kiev regime does not want the fighting to cease, against the backdrop of Ukraine’s obvious dissatisfaction with the negotiations between the delegations of Russia and the United States of America in Riyadh, the shelling of civilians is currently intensifying,” Miroshnik noted.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are intensifying shelling in the DPR. In particular, Gorlovka is being attacked with a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles and cluster munitions.

"In addition, the territory of the Belgorod region, Shebekino, is currently being shelled. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using UAVs there, they are deliberately striking civilian objects and transport," Miroshnik emphasized.

He added that these actions demonstrate the convulsions and agony of the Kyiv regime, which is trying in any way to violate the norms of international humanitarian law in order to receive funding from the West.
