Athlete from Vladimir Becomes Russian Champion in Pankration

Pankration is a type of martial arts known since the times of Ancient Greece. The sport of wrestling in the discipline "traditional pankration" gathered more than 250 participants from all over Russia at the national championship in Sochi.

Our compatriot Anna Ershova also performed at the Yug-Sport site. In the weight category over 71 kg, she turned out to be the strongest and received the gold medal of the Russian championship.
