The Russian Cup match "Path of Regions" between Ivanovo's Tekstilshchik and Voronezh's Fakel has concluded.

Regular and extra time failed to determine a winner, and the game's fate was decided in a penalty shootout, where luck was on Fakel's side.

The game was intense and emotional: Tekstilshchik opened the scoring in the 13th minute thanks to a precise strike from Azarov. The team managed to maintain its lead until the end of the first half, but in the 47th minute, shortly after the start of the second half, Fakel restored parity through Chikhradze. Neither team scored again in the remaining time—either in regulation or extra time.

The penalty shootout proved tense and unpredictable. After Fakel missed, Tekstilshchik also failed to capitalize on their chance. The teams then traded shots, but at the crucial moment, the Ivanovo team managed to convert only one of four.

The penalty shootout ended 1-2 in favor of Fakel, which will continue to compete for the Russian Cup, while Tekstilshchik ends its participation in the current stage of the tournament.
