FC Ural to face changes after unsuccessful season

Following the season, which did not bring FC Ural a place in the Russian Premier League, a number of players and employees are leaving the club. This was reported by the city portal E1. Ural was the favorite, but took only fourth place in the First League and lost in the transition matches to Akhmat, giving it a place in the RPL.
According to E1, Ural coach Oleg Shatov, who once replaced the resigned Evgeny Averyanov, is leaving the club.
Ural also officially announced the resignation of Vice President Igor Smolnikov, who was responsible for recruiting players. The three-time Russian champion, originally from Kamensk-Uralsky, worked in this position for only a year.
The football club also refused to extend the contract of midfielder Ivan Chudin. The 35-year-old athlete played for Ural since July last year and managed to play 20 matches.
The prospects for cooperation with the club's president, Grigory Ivanov, will become clear after the club's board meeting, writes E1.
According to the Transfermarkt portal, on June 30 of this year, contracts will expire for 15 Ural players. Among them are athletes such as: Andrey Egorychev, Ilya Ishkov, Yuri Zheleznov, Daniil Mishkich, Timur Ayupov.
It is assumed that Ural will spend the next season in the First League, but this decision has not yet been approved by the Russian Football Union.
As previously reported, FC Ural played an away match with Akhmat as part of the transition matches . The Yekaterinburg team lost to their opponents with a score of 0:2. As a result, Akhmat retained its place in the Premier League.
