Murmansk rescuers competed for the Federation Cup


The employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from Murmansk took part in the interregional competitions for the Cup of the Federation of Fire and Rescue Sports of Russia. The tournament was held among the teams of the Main Directorates of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the subjects of the Northwestern Federal District.
The event brought together participants from seven regions: Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Pskov, Kaliningrad regions, the Komi Republic and St. Petersburg. The teams competed in physical fitness, speed, coordination and teamwork.
"The championship was an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, improve skills and strengthen sports ties between regions. All participants demonstrated a decent level of training and professionalism, demonstrating a real will to win and team spirit. Sports unite us all," said Ivan Pogorelov, head of the training and fire and rescue sports department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Murmansk.
The team from the Arctic Circle, despite their efforts, did not make it into the prizes. However, the rescuers are confident that participation in such competitions is already a victory. And the experience gained in the competitions will definitely come in handy in future challenges.
