A truck crashed into a worker's bus waiting in the emergency lane in Denizli: 1 person died.

The accident occurred on the Denizli Ring Road in the Güzelköy neighborhood of the Pamukkale district. According to reports, a minibus with license plate 20 AJK 220, driven by Hacı Avcı and carrying agricultural workers to the Dazkırı district of Afyonkarahisar, stopped in the emergency lane to pick up workers. A truck driven by HK, approaching from behind, maneuvered to avoid hitting the service vehicle, but to no avail.

The truck hit a service vehicle with the corner of its trailer. Upon receiving a report of the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination by the medical teams, it was determined that Mustafa Avcı (70), who was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle and whose father was the driver, Hacı Avcı, had died.

Truck driver HK was taken to the police station for questioning. Following examination, Mustafa Avcı's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Denizli Group Headquarters morgue for an autopsy. Traffic, which was briefly single-lane, returned to normal after the vehicles were removed from the road. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
