President Erdoğan: Do not make the mistake of looking down on anyone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the 110th Term District Governors' Draw Ceremony in Beştepe.
"YOU SHOULD NOT LET THE OPPRESSED BE OPPRESSED BY THE OPPRESSOR"
Addressing the district governor candidates, President Erdoğan said, "You will not let the oppressed oppress the oppressor. The district governorship cannot be confined to four walls. You will try to find solutions to the problems of anyone who comes to your door. You will not make the mistake of looking down on anyone who knocks on your door, no matter what the reason, or fall into such crudeness."
"EVERYONE IS AN EQUAL AND HONORABLE CITIZEN OF OUR STATE"
"You will sacrifice your sleep when necessary and stand by your citizens whenever they need you," said Erdoğan, adding, "Regardless of their faith, identity, origin, political view, or sect, everyone in our 783,000-square-kilometer homeland is an equal and honorable citizen of the state."
"POSITIONS AND SEATS ARE TEMPORARY"
President Erdoğan said, "Positions, positions, titles—all of these are temporary, but they are also a means of testing. The important thing is to pass this test. You must keep the poison of arrogance and egotism out of your body."
DISTRICT GOVERNOR WARNED CANDIDATES: WE HAVE NO TOLERANCE
Erdoğan stated that the world has undergone a more rapid transformation than ever before, especially in the last 20 years, and continued:
We are taking the necessary precautions to minimize the negative impact of digital innovations on society and to protect our national and moral values from threats. The importance of digital technology, especially in combating disinformation, has reached a level that cannot be ignored. Social media platforms are undoubtedly important for strengthening communication between administrators and citizens. We have no tolerance for administrators who use social media for personal gain and PR purposes rather than increasing the efficiency of public services, reaching citizens more quickly, and finding the most appropriate solutions to meet demands and expectations.
