Children Meet with Underground History in Nilüfer

At a summer workshop held in Nilüfer, children explored archaeology and embarked on a delightful journey into the subterranean past. As part of the municipality-organized program, children aged 7-10 worked like real archaeologists at the excavation site, learning while having fun.
During the event, children were taught about archaeological excavation processes, the significance of artifacts, and how they connect with history. As they carefully uncovered buried objects with small brushes, the children experienced the importance of teamwork and patience.
This workshop, planned by the Nilüfer Municipality for the summer term, aims to both foster scientific thinking skills and raise children's awareness of cultural heritage. The event, which has attracted considerable interest, is planned to continue with various themes.
