In order to be employed within the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality subject to the Civil Servants Law No. 657; Civil servants will be recruited through open appointment to the vacant positions specified below, provided that they meet the title, class, degree, number, qualifications, KPSS score type, KPSS base score and other conditions in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Police Regulation. GENERAL APPLICATION CONDITIONS: Candidates who will apply to be appointed to the announced vacant police officer positions must have the following conditions specified in Article 40 and Article 48, first paragraph, subparagraph (A) of the Civil Servants Law No. 657; a) Being a Turkish citizen, b) Not being deprived of public rights, c) Even if the periods specified in Article 53 of the Turkish Penal Code have passed; not to have been sentenced to imprisonment for one year or more due to a crime committed intentionally or not to have been convicted of crimes against the security of the State, crimes against the Constitutional order and the functioning of this order, embezzlement, extortion, bribery, theft, fraud, forgery, abuse of trust, fraudulent bankruptcy, rigging a tender, rigging the performance of an obligation, laundering assets derived from crime or smuggling, even if pardoned, d) For male candidates, in terms of military service status; not to have any connection with the military or not to have reached the military age or, if reached the military age, to have completed active military service or to have been postponed or transferred to the reserve class, e) not to have a mental illness that may prevent him from continuously performing his duty, f) to meet the other application requirements sought for the announced positions.
