July 2025 retirement promotions updated: Which banks are offering how much promotion? Here are the highest amounts

Banks updated their retirement promotions as of July. With the new salary increases, banks are offering promotions ranging from 5,000 TL to 27,000 TL to those who transfer their SGK (SSK, Bağ-Kur, Emekli Sandığı) pensions to themselves.

WHICH BANK HAS THE HIGHEST RETIREMENT PROMOTION?

As of July 2025, the banks offering the highest promotions are:

Yapı Kredi: Promotion up to 27,000 TL

VakıfBank: 12,000 TL cash payment

ING: Promotion up to 15,000 TL + additional payments totaling 25,000 TL

TEB: Total promotion up to 21,000 TL

Garanti BBVA: 15,000 TL promotion + 6,000 TL bonus

DenizBank: Promotion up to 20,000 TL

Ziraat Bank & Halkbank: Promotion up to 12,000 TL

İş Bankası: 1,000 TL MaxiPoint for invoice order, up to 5,000 TL discount for credit card

PROMOTION AMOUNTS VARY DEPENDING ON SALARY

Banks determine retirement promotions in stages according to salary amount:

Salary below 10,000 TL → 5,000 TL - 6,250 TL

10,000 - 15,000 TL → 8,000 TL - 10,000 TL

15,000 - 20,000 TL → 10,000 TL - 12,500 TL

Over 20,000 TL → 12,000 TL - 15,000 TL

HOW TO GET A RETIREMENT PROMOTION?

Retirees can transfer their pensions at bank branches or through e-Government. Those who wish to switch banks before the commitment period expires can do so by refunding any unused portion of the previous promotion.
