Operation against 8 different organized crime groups in 6 provinces! 74 suspects caught

Minister Yerlikaya's statements are as follows; Ş.K. in Istanbul, - F.Ö. in Balıkesir, - YK in Antalya (in prison), - EY in Tekirdağ, - NG and EK in Kırklareli (2 separate organizations),

- In our operations that we carried out last week in 6 provinces against 8 separate Organized Crime Organizations led by FYK and AA (2 separate organizations) in Bursa; 74 suspects who are members of the organized crime organization, including the leaders, were caught.

Of the suspects; - 43 WERE ARRESTED.

- Judicial control decisions were made for 20 of them. The procedures for the others are continuing.

We continue our operations uninterruptedly to capture criminals and bring them to justice at every stage of our fight against organized crime organizations so that no crime and criminal goes unpunished.

* As a result of the work carried out by the Provincial Police Departments KOM Branch Directorates under the coordination of our Republic Chief Prosecutor's Office and the General Directorate of Security KOM Presidency; the suspects who were members of an organized crime organization caught in the operations carried out in Istanbul, Kırklareli, Bursa, Balıkesir, Antalya and Tekirdağ were found guilty of; - Establishing an Organization to Commit a Crime, - Aggravated Looting, - Attempting to Kill with Deliberate Injury,

- Armed Threat ,

- Damage to Property, - Collection of Checks and Bills, - Usury, - Deprivation of Liberty,

- Drug Trafficking,

- Human Trafficking,

- Arms Trade and

- Our Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against them for the crime of Deliberately Endangering Public Security.

As a result of the operations; - 20 unlicensed pistols, - 5 unlicensed rifles, - 2 blank-firing pistols,

- A large number of cutting/piercing tools and checks/promissory notes were seized.

I congratulate our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices who coordinated the operations and our Heroic Police Officers who carried out the operations.
