Trump's first cabinet post-flash statement! 'The EU was established to destroy the US'

Trump made assessments on the agenda at his first cabinet meeting at the White House. Stating that he would not stop the tariffs on Canada and Mexico, Trump claimed that millions of people died due to fentanyl coming to the US through Canada and Mexico.
"The tariffs will continue, not all of them, but many of them," Trump said, adding that tariffs on Canada and Mexico, as well as all other tariffs, will go into effect on April 2.
"THE EUROPEAN UNION WAS FOUNDED TO DESTROY THE UNITED STATES"
Asked what level of tariffs would be imposed on the EU, Trump said: "We've made a decision, we'll announce it very soon, and it's going to be 25 percent across the board. That's going to apply to cars and other things. The European Union was founded to destroy the United States, but now I'm the president."
Trump said the EU could try to retaliate but that it would not be successful, adding that in that case they would no longer import from there.
TIMING OF TARIFF CREATES CONFUSION
There has been confusion over Trump's decision to not halt tariffs on Canada and Mexico, but at the same time he said they would go into effect on April 2.
The US President imposed a 25 percent tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico with an executive order he signed on February 1. The tariffs were expected to go into effect on February 4.
Trump announced a 30-day suspension of tariffs on Canada and Mexico in exchange for increased border security, the day before the tariffs went into effect.
US President Trump had previously pointed to April 2 as the date for bilateral tariffs and customs duties on some sectors.
