Turgay Erdem fell ill in prison and was taken to hospital

Former Nilüfer Mayor Turgay Erdem, who was detained and arrested in an operation conducted in three provinces centered in Bursa on October 10 as part of an investigation launched by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "establishing, managing and being a member of an organization established for the purpose of committing a crime," "Bribery," and "Laundering assets derived from crime," fell ill in prison.

It was stated that Erdem, who was taken to Bursa City Hospital, is in good condition, is being kept under observation in intensive care as a precaution because he has a heart condition, and will undergo an angiography tomorrow.
