Ümit Özdağ visits Ahmet Minguzzi's mother

Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ visited Yasemin Akıncılar, the mother of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life as a result of a knife attack in Kadıköy, Istanbul.
Özdağ was accompanied by Ülkü Özkaya, the Youth and Education President of the Zafer Party, and Aslıhan Alkan Bat, a lawyer from the Justice is the Foundation of Property Association.
Özdağ said that they, as the Victory Party, would support them during and after the trial.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi was the son of Italian conductor Andrea Minguzzi and Turkish cellist Yasemin Akıncılar Minguzzi. While shopping at the historic Tuesday Market in Istanbul's Kadıköy district on January 24, 2025, he was stabbed five times after an argument with 15-year-old BB.
Sixteen-year-old UB, who was with Minguzzi during the incident, attacked him with kicks as he fell to the ground. Mattia, who was severely injured, died after 14 days of fighting for his life in the hospital.
Minguzzi's death sparked outrage in the country.
Minguzzi's mother, Yasemin Akıncılar, took part in various actions to ensure that the criminals received the punishment they deserved and received great support from the society.
