The International Kahramanmaraş Book Fair continues

At the fair held at the Kahramanmaraş Fair Center, books in many genres such as novels, poetry, essays, stories, research, art, history, education, biography, children's and food are presented to readers at the stands of publishing houses.
Book lovers meet with authors at talks and signing events organized as part of the fair.
Zekeriya Çakabey, a writer and vice president of the Kahramanmaraş Literature and Arts Association, told an AA reporter that book fairs serve as a bridge between writers and readers.
Çakabey stated that as authors, they establish one-on-one communication with book lovers by introducing their books, and continued:
"As technology develops and its accessibility increases, our children's dependence on it increases every day. We want to touch them with books and explain certain things. The interest in book fairs here is very good. I hope we can explain ourselves and our books to all book lovers in the best way possible."
Author Mahmut Elgörmüş, who came from Istanbul for the fair, also expressed his observation of the rapidly spreading and increasing book reading trend in Anatolia.
Hatice Rüya Karabulut, a second-grade student who came to the fair from the Afşin district with her family, said she enjoyed reading and writing and visited the stands to buy books.
On the other hand, students of Fatih Primary School in the Dulkadiroğlu district introduced the book titled "Fatih's Children", which includes their own works, at the fair.
The fair will continue to welcome book lovers until October 26.
