A child was killed in the sea: İrem Helvacıoğlu attended the wedding wearing a neck brace

Actress İrem Helvacıoğlu, who has starred in productions such as "Girls of the Sun," "I've Been Waiting for You for a Long Time," and "Sen Anlat Karadeniz," married business manager Ural Kaspar in October last year. Currently eight months pregnant, Helvacıoğlu had recently announced that she was expecting a baby girl.

Helvacıoğlu, who is counting down the days until the birth of her baby, recently went on vacation with her family in Ayvalık to relax. However, while swimming in the sea, she suffered a neck injury when a child jumped off a pontoon and hit her head.

Sharing her experience on social media, the actress said, "The child fell on my head during an acrobatic move. My neck snapped back. Since we were in the sea, the baby wasn't affected. When I came out, I thought I was paralyzed. We arrived in Istanbul a day later. We learned that the disc in my neck had hit a nerve, causing a herniated disc. The fact that my feet weren't touching the ground allowed me to get through this so easily."

Helvacıoğlu, who had to wear a neck brace, was seen at Ezgi Şenler and Ömer Gürgen's wedding the previous evening. Commenting on her health, the actress said, "Actually, my injury wasn't limited to my neck. I couldn't use my index fingers at all for a long time, but I'm just now starting to be able to move them."

Helvacıoğlu added that she missed returning to the sets and working after giving birth to her healthy baby.
