7 million people marched against Trump in the US

US President Donald Trump made a statement regarding the recent surge in "No Kings" protests in the country. Rejecting accusations of being an "authoritarian" leader, Trump said, "I work my butt off to make our country great. That's all. I'm not a king at all."
The second "No to Kings" protest, first held in June and launched with claims that the Trump administration was dragging the country in a more "military and autocratic" direction, was held across the US over the weekend with the participation of thousands of people.
TRUMP CALLED PROTESTS A "JOKE"Answering reporters' questions on his flight back to Washington, D.C., Trump called the protests "a joke." He claimed the demonstrations were funded by "other radical left-wing freaks," including billionaire businessman George Soros, and emphasized that he worked tirelessly to serve the country.
"I looked at the people. They do not represent this country. The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective, and people were going crazy," Trump said.
ACLU: 7 MILLION PEOPLE TOOK THE STREETS IN 50 STATESAt "No to Kings" rallies held across the US over the weekend, participants argued that threats to democracy, human rights, freedom of expression, and the environment were increasing. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), one of the organizers of the protests, reported that over 2,500 rallies were held across all 50 states, with a total of 7 million people attending these events.
Trump's statements have reignited debates about democratic values and freedom of expression in the country.
