Mustafa Bak was re-elected as CHP Trabzon Provincial Chairman

In the CHP 's 39th Ordinary Trabzon Provincial Congress, current chairman Mustafa Bak was re-elected as the provincial chairman by receiving 298 votes.
The CHP Trabzon Provincial Congress was held at the Hamamizade İhsan Bey Cultural Center. CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan chaired the congress, and 344 delegates cast their votes. In the elections, incumbent provincial chairman Mustafa Bak was re-elected with 298 votes.
CHP Ankara Deputy Umut Akdoğan noted the following in his speech at the congress:
"The day President Ekrem is released from prison, I will dance the plain horon in front of Silivri. I promise you that the day he is elected President, I will dance that plain horon around the Çankaya Presidential Palace in Ankara. One poet says, 'You can't reach the range if you don't walk. To reach the range, you need a sharp horse.' Another says, 'If a horseman's heart doesn't beat faster than the heart of the horse he rides, that horse can't reach the range.'" Thank God, we also have our sharp horses to gain ground. We also have our cavalry, whose hearts beat faster than that sharp horse. Here is our party leader, Özgür Özel; here is our presidential candidate, Ekrem İmamoğlu. With these cavalry, these sharp horses, these committed organizations, we will penetrate every corner of the country. Politics is a science, numbers, and calculations. But politics is reason, emotion, and conscience. Today, those in power made their own calculations. Today, those in power kept their own tally. However, this miscalculation they made has reverted the mind, conscience, and emotion of the nation.
"BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THEIR POWER IS NOW OVER"CHP Trabzon Deputy Sibel Suiçmez claimed that the government was afraid, saying, "Because they know their rule is over. The people have made their decision and will send this government packing. That's why, out of fear, they are attacking both the Republic, the Republican People's Party members who stand like a steel shield against the Republic, and our Republican People's Party. They will continue their attacks. We, all of us, from 7 to 70, at every level of our organization, regardless of their position, are aware of this."
Mustafa Bak, who was re-elected as president at the congress, said, "I'm here again to support the struggle of our presidential candidate, Ekrem İmamoğlu, and his comrades. We will continue to contribute to local policymaking in Trabzon, serving the city, and contributing to its success. But our priority will be to manage this difficult period together with the strong legacy of the Republican People's Party and to ensure the Republican People's Party's rise to power."
