Netflix, one of the world's most popular digital streaming platforms, has launched a new feature designed to enhance the user experience. Users will now be able to cut, save, and share any scene from their TV series and movies.
Last year's "Moments" feature allowed recording specific moments. However, it didn't allow for selecting the end point of a scene. Netflix's newly announced "Clips" feature offers a much improved experience. Users can now create clips of any length by specifying the start and end point of a scene.
The recorded scenes will be saved in the clips section of the "My Netflix" section of the mobile app. Users can share these clips on social media or simply download and save them to their devices.
According to Netflix, the feature is currently only available on the mobile app. Here are the steps:
- Open the Netflix app.
- Select the movie or series you want.
- At the point you want to record, tap the “Select a Scene” option that appears on the screen.
- Set start and end time, then share the clip or just save it with the “Skip” option.
With this innovation, Netflix has taken the platform experience one step further by allowing users to save and share their favorite moments.
