Stating that Professor Andrew Ng from Stanford University likened artificial intelligence to the electricity of this age, Özlem Dağ said, “Just as electricity changed everything, entered and transformed everything from its first invention to today, artificial intelligence will do the same. It changes and will change everything; it transforms and will transform everything. It is necessary to look at it from this perspective.” Özlem Dağ stated that she is proud to be one of the pioneering institutions that use artificial intelligence in education.
'TEACHERS WILL FOCUS ON THEIR REAL JOB'Özlem Dağ, who stated that BKAi assistant, where students listen to topics they do not understand and get help with questions they cannot answer, is actively used in Bahçeşehir College schools, said that the teacher assistant will start to be used as of September. Speaking about the assistant that will take the administrative burden off teachers, Dağ said, “Not only in Turkey, but all over the world, teachers perform administrative duties as well as pedagogical duties. There is such a reality in every country. When artificial intelligence takes these administrative duties off our teachers, they will focus more on their own main professions with the assistant. They will have the opportunity to personalize these applications with their own talents, knowledge and experience in in-class applications, and to follow their students one-on-one and provide guidance and mentoring.”
PARENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTStating that the assistant application will not be limited to student and teacher support, Dağ gave the good news of an artificial intelligence-supported assistant for parents and administrators, and said the following:
“Thanks to artificial intelligence, our teachers will establish more sustainable communication with their parents with fast, clear, up-to-date data. This will deepen the communication between our parents and teachers and strengthen the education and training process.”
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SUPPORTED EDUCATION ASSISTANTProviding information about BKAi with her presentation, Bahçeşehir College Deputy General Manager Dr. Özge Aslan stated that the system is an artificial intelligence-supported platform that provides access to educational materials prepared by Bahçeşehir College experts, provides assistant support for completing missing topics, and covers the areas of career selection, school admissions, and guidance. Giving examples from different professional groups, Prof. Dr. Yavuz Samur also emphasized the imitations and fake images made with artificial intelligence and said the following:
