Flash claim from CHP! "Gürsel Tekin, like Çerçioğlu, will soon do what is necessary."

Gürsel Tekin, appointed trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters, went to the provincial headquarters yesterday with 5,000 police officers. As the clashes escalated in front of the building, police intervened against CHP deputies and citizens. Escorted by police, Gürsel Tekin was unable to enter his office due to resistance from the deputies and left the building in the evening.

While CHP Deputy Chairman Suat Özçağdaş was evaluating the events that took place on the Sabah Pusulası program hosted by Gökhan Kayış on TELE1, he also reacted strongly to Gürsel Tekin.

Özçağdaş asked Gürsel Tekin, who had said, "They are not CHP members," to those who had reacted against him, "Who are you?" He said, "There's a Gürsel Tekin there who has become a puppet in the hands of the Justice and Development Party." Özçağdaş continued, "Alongside him are some clowns who were expelled from this party for fraud, and there are some people trying to portray the CHP as a criminal environment."

Özçağdaş said, "Gürsel Tekin is not a member of the Republican People's Party (CHP); he is a sellout to the Justice and Development Party (AKP). He will do what is necessary very soon, just like Özlem Çerçioğlu."
