According to Sabah, Yıldırım, who decided to realize his dreams of the sky during his internship at THY Teknik, started working as a second pilot in THY's Airbus fleet after his training, and later decided to continue his career in Dubai.

Yıldırım, who started her career in the skies about 12 years ago, became the first Turkish female pilot to sit in the captain's seat of the world's largest passenger plane, the double-decker A380. Sharing her feelings, Yıldırım said, "This journey I started about 12 years ago has brought me to the captain's seat today. Every step, every difficulty, every success has added a lot to me. This profession is not just a job, it has become a part of my life. I would like to thank everyone who supported me and always stood behind me, who made me here today."
