23.59 bargain at Osimhen! Joined via video call...

Galatasaray worked late last night on the historic Osimhen transfer. Galatasaray's Abdullah Kavukcu, playing all his cards to complete the transfer, included Osimhen in the negotiations with Napoli officials.
In reaching an agreement with the star player for €15 million plus €10 million, Cimbom offered the Italian club an initial €15 million upfront and the remaining €60 million to be paid in four installments. While an agreement was reached on €75 million, Napoli requested a "letter of guarantee."
Insistence on collateral led to a dead endFollowing this troubling development, negotiations were suspended. Galatasaray reportedly offered the option of paying interest for each month of delay in lieu of a letter of guarantee.
Napoli insisted on a bank guarantee this time, as they could not receive the payments on time for the transfer of Dzemaili and Pandev, whom they sold to Galatasaray in 2014.
OSIMHEN CAME INTO THE ACTIONThe fact that the guarantee would require a 1-month period as it was included in the Banking Union agreement and that there would also be an extra payment of 1.5 million Euros for the 75 million Euros guarantee disrupted the management's plans.
With Napoli's harsh stance putting Galatasaray in a difficult position, Osimhen stepped in. According to the Italian press, the Nigerian striker, who joined the negotiation table via video call, declared, "I want to go to Galatasaray, make it easy for me."
Osimhen's €75 million release clause expired last night at 11:59 PM. Napoli can put forward a new price for the player if they wish. The thorny issue fans have been waiting for regarding Osimhen's transfer is expected to be resolved today.
