The Youth Turkish Cup Rowing Races began with qualifying competitions.

The Junior Turkish Cup Rowing Races organized by the Turkish Rowing Federation started on the course of the Meriç River.

The event, organized with the support of the Edirne Governorship and TED Edirne College, brought together the rowing community on the Meriç River, Türkiye's first rowing course to Olympic standards.

Nearly 400 athletes from more than 25 clubs participated in the races.

The first day of the organization started with elimination races.

Athletes, who warm up and prepare before the races, compete on 2000 and 1000-meter courses in the women's and men's classifications, in the under-19 (youth), under-17 (stars) and under-15 (junior) categories.

In the championship, races will be held in single sculls, double sculls, quadruple sculls, double sculls, quadruple sculls and eight single boat classes.

The final competitions of the organization will be held on July 13.

On the other hand, Master Races will also be held within the scope of the organization.
