EuroBasket 2025: Türkiye beats hosts Latvia 93-73
Türkiye defeated tournament hosts Latvia 93-73 in the FIBA Men's European Championship (EuroBasket 2025).
The national team dominated the match at the Riga Arena from start to finish, finishing the first period 24-21 and the second 47-39.
The national team increased their lead to 18 points in the third period and entered the final quarter with a 72-55 lead.
Türkiye played comfortably in the final period and left the field victorious 93-73.
Cedi Osman led the way with 20 points, Kenan Sipahi with 19 points and Shane Larkin with 15 points.
Alperen Şengün also played a key role in the victory with 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and one block.
