Fabrizio Romano announced: Beşiktaş reached an agreement with Benfica for Orkun Kökçü

Famous Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, known for his transfer news, wrote that Beşiktaş reached an agreement with Portuguese club Benfica for the transfer of Orkun Kökçü.
The 24-year-old national football player's transfer to Beşiktaş has been talked about for a while.
Romano X announced in his post that the clubs and the player had reached a verbal agreement regarding the transfer.
According to the agreement, Beşiktaş will initially loan Kökçü, with the option to buy him out. The Black and Whites will acquire Kökçü for a fixed fee of €25 million at the end of the season.
Bonuses of up to €5 million will also be added to this. Beşiktaş will pay Benfica a total of €30 million for Kökçü.
Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu also announced in his post on X that the agreement was 5+25 million euros.
Orkun Kökçü started his professional career at the Dutch club Feyenoord.
With his performance here, he was promoted to captain and was transferred to Benfica for 29.70 million euros in the summer of 2023.
Kökçü played 55 matches in all competitions for Benfica last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 11 assists.
Kökçü, who played 41 matches for the Turkish National Team, can play in midfield and on the wings.
