Flash application from Fenerbahçe to TFF

Following the foreign referee discussions that started after Slavko Vincic refereed the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby played in the 25th week of the Trendyol Super League, an application was made to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) by the yellow-navy club.

Fenerbahçe Club announced on its official website that an application has been made to the TFF for all remaining matches in the Super League to be refereed by foreign referees.

The following statements were made in the statement:

"The positive contributions of the foreign referee committee appointed by the Turkish Football Federation to the derby match played on February 24, 2025, to Turkish football were seen by the majority of the sports community.

As a result of the referee team's performance both before and after the match, the fact that the same referee is requested by some Super League clubs for their own matches is an indication of the legitimacy of our demands to date.

For this reason, we have officially submitted our request to the Turkish Football Federation on February 25, 2025, to have all remaining matches in the 2024-2025 season refereed by foreign referees.

In this context, we would like to inform the public that we welcome the request of our competitors to have their matches refereed by foreign referees."
