Istanbul Başakşehir was eliminated from the UEFA Conference League tournament after losing 3-1 away to Romanian team Universitatea Craiova in the second leg of the play-off round.
In the first match of the play-off round, İstanbul Başakşehir lost 2-1 to Universitatea Craiova.
Başakşehir took a 1-0 lead with a goal from Selke in the seventh minute of the second leg at the Ion Oblemenco Stadium.

Başakşehir's Operi was sent off in the 80th minute after receiving a red card. The Romanian team doubled their lead in the 81st minute with a goal from Nsimba.
While Universitatea Craiova won the match 3-1, Başakşehir, who lost to its opponent in both matches, was eliminated from the European competitions.
