The Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race has begun

The 37th Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Race has started.

Approximately 2,800 athletes gathered at Kuruçeşme Cemil Topuzlu Park and were taken to the Kanlıca Ferry Port where the race would begin.

As the race began, swimmers began their strokes on the 6.5-kilometer course for the title of "Intercontinental Swimmer" .

Some swimmers participating in the competition showed their support for Palestine by waving flags. Competitors held Palestinian flags as they made their way to the starting area by ferry.
