The Turkish National Women's Volleyball Team took the lead against Canada in the World Championship held in Thailand.

The national team secured two wins from two against Spain and Bulgaria, securing a spot in the round of 16. The Sultans of the Net faced Canada, the other team in the group that secured a spot in the round of 16, for the top spot.

The Sultans of the Net, who won the match played at the Korat Chatchai Sports Hall in Nakhon Ratchasima without dropping a set, finished the group undefeated.
