Wimbledon champion Alcaraz is once again in the final

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, the champion of the last two years at Wimbledon, advanced to the final by defeating his American opponent Taylor Fritz 3-1 in the semifinals.
World number two Alcaraz and world number five Fritz met in the men's singles semi-finals at Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam tennis tournament of the season.
Alcaraz advanced to the final after a four-set victory of 4-6, 7-5, 3-6, and 6-7.
The 22-year-old athlete won the Wimbledon 2024 and 2023 championship by defeating Serbian racket Novak Djokovic in the finals.
The Spaniard reached two finals at the French Open and Wimbledon, and one at the US Open. He won all of these finals.
Alcaraz, who will be competing for his sixth Grand Slam title in his sixth Grand Slam final, will face the winner of the match between world number one Italian player Jannik Sinner and world number six Djokovic.
The final will be played on July 13.
