PRECAUTIONS FOR CHILDREN AT RISK
Göktaş, who stated that they carried out important works in line with the 6 strategic objectives in the action plan, said , "Within the framework of the first of these objectives, which is children's rights and participation, we carried out 18 activities and supported children's participation in decision-making mechanisms. We attach importance to the fact that over 34 thousand children who participated in the Children's Rights Committees are raised as individuals who are aware of their rights and responsibilities. Last year, we drew attention to the importance of children's rights with the 25th National Children's Forum Meetings organized in seven regions. We held two Children's Advisory Board meetings during the year. We organized 3 thousand 545 events with the participation of 180 thousand 744 children with our Children's Rights Provincial Committees. With these activities, we aim to raise leaders who look to the future with self-confidence in Turkey." Minister Göktaş, who mentioned that they implemented 19 activities in the field of child-friendly justice in line with the second strategic objective and created mechanisms that facilitate children's access to justice, stated that thanks to this, the necessary measures are taken without losing time from the moment a child at risk is detected.
